He has rated number one in Sydney since 2004, and is now heard every weekday morning on 4BC in Brisbane and dozens of network stations right across Australia. On Saturdays, during the NRL season, his Continuous Call Team remains unbeaten since 1992, and has continued to dominate the ratings since joining 2GB in 2002.

Caroline is a 47-year-old widowed mother of four children. Three have been diagnosed with autism and intellectual disabilities. Two years ago, Caroline lost her husband to cancer. Less than a year later, Caroline was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She’s currently in remission.

 

One of her children has unfortunately become extremely violent and uncontrollable. In fits of rage he destroyed parts of the house, causing thousands of dollars’ worth of damages.

This is an incredibly sad story about a family in Macksville, on the NSW Mid North Coast.

 

Xander was born in 2009. He was initially a healthy baby but his health deteriorated rapidly. After countless tests, Xander was diagnosed with Facnconi Anemia, a genetic disease that is extremely rare. There are fewer than 40 cases in Australia.  

 

A number of complications led to Xander’s bone marrow beginning to fail. 

 

To improve his health, doctors advised he needed a perfect bone marrow match and the best option would be marrow from a sibling. Xander...

Gary & his wife Tracy have 4 children, Chloe, Joshua, Ben & Shania. On the 18th Nov 2013, Tracy and Chloe were involved in a single vehicle accident, Tracy was taken to Liverpool Hospital & Chloe to Westmead, both critical.

Their other children were being cared for by grandparents Neville & Narelle.

On Sat 7th Dec, on their way to Sydney, the unimaginable happened, Neville & Narelle were involved in a head on accident with their 2 young grandchildren on board.

Scott Snodgrass was allegedly king hit early on May 18 in Coffs Harbour.

His family made the heart wrenching decision to turn off his life support two days later.

Scott leaves behind his wife Roisin Maitland and their four children.

On Tuesday the 7th May 2013 Leading Senior Constable Chris Plummer, from Bankstown Local Area Command, lost his battle with an extremely aggressive form of cancer.

He was diagnosed only seven weeks before his death.

Chris was married to Juliet and they have four daughters, all under the age of 12.

Pat Brown suffered a severe electric shock while working at Governor Phillip Tower in October last year. He passed away on the 6th January 2013, aged 26.

Pat leaves behind his wife Nicole and their baby Ruby.

70 of his friends are raising money to help the family out by taking part in the Tough Mudder competition at Mulgoa. The event is a 20km obstacle course designed by the British Special Forces.
