The Sydney Harbour fireworks are admired around the country and the world, but the spectacle is never complete without a unique message.

Mark Levy speaks with the man behind the fire Tino Foti from Foti Fireworks to check in on the preparations.

“The planning starts earlier on in the year and starts to ramp up around September.

“Every year we endeavour to try and come up with something new, something different.”

“[There are] a couple of new features we’re going to deliver this year.

“We’ve got the rainbow coloured waterfall coming off the bridge.”
