CCTV footage has emerged showing three men stopping to put on their shoes before helping a driver whose car rolled down a hill.

The rollover crash occurred over the weekend in Sleepy Hollow in northern NSW, but the men involved are now being criticised.

Although they assisted the person in the car, some people have taken aim at them for not immediately rushing over.

Ben Fordham thinks it’s unfair to criticise the men and says they were acting sensibly.

“I presume they’re putting shoes on because they’re about to step outside, and walk through scrub to get to the crash scene, that was probably surrounded by broken glass,” he says.

The driver was transported to hospital by helicopter.
