Girls in school uniforms, as young as 12, being targeted by men

Teenage schoolgirls have revealed they’re regularly targeted by men as they travel to and from school.
Plan International was told by girls as young as 12 that they’re being harassed, while in their school uniforms, as they make their daily commute.
“Honestly, you don’t want to be going around leering at women anywhere, or wolf-whistling at women anywhere, but if they’re in school uniforms, give these girls a break,” says Chris Kenny.
CEO Susanne Legena tells Chris some girls will “take a change of clothes” in an attempt to avoid “unwarranted attention of being in their school uniform”.
“More than one-third of respondents in the survey we did said that they were first harassed between the ages of 11 and 15.”
