Apple and pear prices drop below cost of production

Apple and pear growers are in the midst of a tough harvest, but not through a lack of good quality fruit.
Farm gate prices are as low as the industry has seen, dropping to as low as one dollar per kilogram.
Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Apple and Pear Australia Chief Executive Phil Turnbull to find out more.
