Police are calling for your help to support two injured officers.

Senior Constables ‘Jono’ Wright and Matt Foley were injured on February 16 when a they were struck by a car who veered into them, pinning them between the car and a police van.

The 22-year-old driver was allegedly checking his phone.

The officers remain in stable but serious conditions.

Senior Constable Wright has had his lower right leg amputated. Senior Constable Foley suffered significant leg, arm and head injuries.

NSW Police Association President Scott Webber tells Ray Hadley public support is crucial.

“The main thing is making sure every cent goes to the families.

“We can only think what they’re going through. There’s a long road of recovery.”
