White van approaches boy in Sydney’s west
Children and parents are being urged to take care in Sydney’s west following two possible child approaches in recent weeks.
At around 3.25pm on March 2, police were told a nine-year-old boy had been walking in Park Road at Wallacia when a white/grey van pulled up next to him.
The driver spoke to the boy who was so concerned he screamed.
The male driver is described as having white-blond hair and had his face covered.
There was another suspected incident in the area on February 16.
A 10-year-old girl was walking along Mackay Drive at Silverdale when she passed a stationary vehicle.
An occupant of the vehicle approached the girl and spoke to her.
Police now believe this incident was a just misunderstanding.
