Kevin Kingston was tagging along with a mate when he ended up debuting with the Cronulla Sharks in 2005.
He quickly became one of the most respected and impactful NRL players.
After a stint at Parramatta, he joined the Penrith Panthers in 2010, where he went on to become Captain. He retired in 2014, after 183 First Grade games,
At the time, coach Ivan Cleary said “I don’t think I’ve seen a better clubman than Kevy Kingston”.
He’s now the club’s wellbeing and education manager, which he says is about being like “a big brother” and “sympathetic ear” to players.
