Scott Morrison says Labor tax plan is ‘absolute trainwreck’
Bill Shorten’s tax plan is in disarray.
But the Opposition is standing by the policy, while not explicitly ruling out making changes to protect the most vulnerable.
Treasurer Scott Morrison has labelled the plan as “numpty” and an “absolute trainwreck”.
“I don’t know who’s more incompetent, Chris Bowen for suggesting it or Bill Shorten for agreeing to this,” he tells Ben Fordham.
“They have no idea what the implications of this policy are.
“They see the tax system like some sort of easter egg hunt, where they go crawling under every part of your life and rip as much cash out of you as they can.”
