Radio legend Ron E Sparks has alerted Ben Fordham of an annoying feature of TV news.

He claims there was an endless line of throws to other reporters on 9News as they were revealing the State of Origin team.

In fact, it took four reporters to finally reveal the line-up!

“It was throw city!” says Ron E.

Peter Overton even piped in to defend the segment.

“Now that I think about it, next time we announce the State of Origin team we might remove 17 or 18 people from the throwing process Ron E.”
