Ben Fordham has blasted Labor’s “pure arrogance” in selecting the next boss of the ABC. 

The Opposition’s communications spokeswoman Michelle Rowland says she “expects Labor to be genuinely consulted” in the process.

But Ben says Ms Rowland seems to have forgotten one key detail.

“She’s not a Minister, and Labor is not in government,” he said.

“She’s got about as much right to have a say in who runs the ABC as me or you.

“You can have an opinion Michelle, but you don’t get a seat at the table.”

Ben said it’s another example of Labor politicians counting their chickens before they hatch.
