A year of heavy rain has sparked concerns of a potato shortage in New Zealand.

It’s estimated floods on both the North and South Island has wiped out up to 20 percent of the nation’s crop.

Rural report Eddie Summerfield caught up with AusVeg’s Shaun Lindhe who says Australian growers suffered a similar fate less than a year ago.
