New technology in pest insect fight

A new tech start-up is aiming to bolster Australia’s response to Queensland Fruit Fly.

More than one million dollars is being provided from the federal government to a trial of Rapid AIM technology capable of detecting the presence and location of fruit flies once it lands in a trap.
