Channel 9 newsreader Peter Overton fulfilled the wish of a terminally ill cancer patient by letting her read the news.

Dreams2Live4 aims to grant one dream to a terminally ill cancer patient every 48 hours.

Peter granted Anesha’s wish to read the 6 o’clock evening news.

Dreams2Live4 Director Pat O’Sullivan tells Ben Fordham that Peter even organised a helicopter ride over Sydney Harbour for her.

“We all cried to that video because here was a wonderful lady who got her dream which on some levels is so simple but on most levels is impossible for people to get.

“Peter is a wonderful support of our charity.”
