NSW Swifts co-captain Maddy Proud has re-signed with the club for another two seasons, after taking the Swifts to an electrifying victory in the Super Netball grand final.

Proud fought through the pain of a broken rib, sustained in the semi-finals, to claim the Premiership.

She told Mark Levy adrenaline kicked in to help her focus solely on the game.

“Nothing a little bit of strapping, a bit of painkillers, and a bit of an injection just before you go on can’t heal!”
