71-year-old Joseph Borg from Glenorie has not only mastered the basics of computers, he’s now teaching his 90-year-old mother to surf the web.

In a hand-written note to Alan Jones, Joseph writes he’s reinvented his life.

Telling his wife and son he wanted to learn how to use a computer, he signed up for a computer course at Tafe.

Nine months later, he’s now passing his skills onto his mum.

Oh, and if you’re wondering why he sent a hand-written note, he says he still prefers old-fashioned letters.

He speaks with Alan Jones.

“I get onto YouTube and listen to my favourite Opera songs.

He said it was a great experience to introduce his 90-year-old mother to computers.
