The Outsider Mark Latham has backed Liberal MP Matthew Mason-Cox for his attack on the government’s decision to spend $2.5 billion building two stadiums in Sydney.

The MP has criticised the government’s plans to demolish and rebuild ANZ stadium at Olympic Park and the Allianz Stadium at Moore Park.

He says the government should prioritise fixing the failures in the child protection system.

Mark agrees and says it’s clear there are other more pressing issues to address.

“Certainly in NSW there are scores more urgent priorities than footy grounds,” Mark says.

“Isn’t it refreshing to see someone with a dose of truth…echoing what your average citizen in NSW is thinking.

“He’s a bit of a hero for pointing out the obvious truth.”
