An American Scientology survivor tells all on The Ben Fordham Show.

Cathy Schenkelberg is an American actress and singer, who finally escaped the Church of Scientology after dedicating one million dollars and 20 years of her life to the religion.

She gives Ben Fordham insights into the infamous organisation and says it’s “a ruse, it’s a lie”.

“My young daughter woke me up and said ‘mummy I don’t wanna do this anymore’.

“You took two decades and a million dollars from me, well guess what?

It’s my turn to turn the tables.”

Ben and Cathy talk about the first time they both met famous actor and Scientologist Tom Cruise.
