A hire car driver says they’ll be slugged an increase of 110% in parking fees at the international terminal at Sydney Airport.

John Martin tells Chris Smith the new pricing structure will hit hire car drivers hard when it comes into effect on March 6.

He says drivers waiting to pick up passengers from international flights won’t have a choice but to wait and pay.

“It’s the same place, they are charging more for it, and they’ve reduced the size of it,” he says.

“We are left virtually on our own, having to wear this increase.”
