Drink driver causes car park chaos
A woman has been charged with high range drink driving after she was caught allegedly crashing her Porsche into bollards and a ticket machine in Sydney’s east.
Police were called to the carpark of a shopping centre on Kiaora Road in Double Bay after reports a Porsche Cayenne had crashed.
Members of the public helped the driver out of her car and waited for officers to arrive.
The 44-year-old allegedly blew an alcohol reading of 0.341 and was taken to Waverley Police Station.
The Bellevue Hill woman was granted conditional bail and will appear at Downing Centre Local Court next month.
