‘Dreadful practice’: Iconic actor blasts controversial brumby shooting plan
Tom Burlinson, the iconic actor and singer Best known for The Man from Snowy River, says he’s “strongly opposed” to a proposed aerial shooting plan aimed at reducing the number of brumbies running wild in Kosciuszko National Park
This stance comes in response to the recent announcement by NSW Environment Minister Penny Sharpe, who last week confirmed that the government is currently contemplating the implementation of aerial shooting as a measure.
“This slaughter that has taken place in recent months is plain cruel,” Burlinson told Ray Hadley.
