Dairy farmers urged to plan for the long term impacts of drought

Dairy farmers from not only drought stricken New South Wales and Queensland are facing price pressures, not only for feed, but also water.

It’s prompted a reminder from Dairy Australia to reinforce to farmers the need to be planning.

A new website has been launched providing information from not only how to plan, but also up to date pricing for hay, grain, and water.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Dairy Australia’s Farm Business Manager Neil Webster.
