What the leaders are saying on Election Day
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet and Opposition Leader Chris Minns joined The Continuous Call Team with the latest from Election day.
Minns is vying to become the next Premier of the state, but his middle son, Nick, likes to stir the pot by running around their home in a Dominic Perrottet shirt.
Minns told The Continuous Call Team his son set the record straight earlier today at a polling centre at Carlton South Public School in Sydney’s south.
“He (Nick) grabbed the Channel Nine microphone… and said ‘I want to set the record straight I don’t support Dominic Perrottet’,” Minns said.
The Premier also joined the team to speak about where he’s been today and dropping into a training session with his NRL team, the Wests Tigers, earlier this week.
“I don’t know where to start,” Perrottet said after the Tigers’ loss to the Storm last night.
“Clearly that (the pep talk) didn’t work, but they’ll get there.”
Voting in this year’s election closes at 6pm.
