Chris O’Keefe has clashed with NSW Planning Minister Paul Scully over new schemes to tackle the energy star rating and housing crisis in New South Wales.

Paul Scully and Labor are pushing for new housing to be at seven-star energy rating, as well as potentially introducing new ways for the state to bypass local councils to build housing.

“You’re going to have to speak to the building industry about that because they utterly disagree with you”, Chris O’Keefe told Paul Scully during a heated back-and-forth.
