‘You wouldn’t want to leave’: Gallen heaps praise on amazing Panthers
Cronulla premiership-winning captain Paul Gallen has heaped praised on the Penrith Panthers after the club reached their fourth consecutive NRL Grand Final on Friday night.
The Panthers hammered the Storm 38-4 in the first Preliminary Final at Accor Stadium and will now chase a historic three-peat.
Gallen, a member of The Continuous Call Team, says no player would want to leave the club with the success they’re having.
“Penrith are too good, they’re the best attacking and defensive team in the comp,” Gallen said.
“They’ve also got the best completion rate in the competition.
“We confuse rugby league sometimes and try to outsmart it but if you do those things well, you’ll be in every single game.
“You wouldn’t want to leave the club, to have that success week in week out and year in year out, you would not want to go.”
