“What’s happened to Bill?”

Bill Shorten has taken a stab at the Prime Minister’s drinking habits and it’s going down like a lead balloon.

Things went south for the PM last night after he was abused by an angry patron while he was trying to enjoy a beer with supporters at a Queensland pub.

The Opposition Leader was quick to jump on the incident, suggesting Mr Turnbull “turn the alcohol off” at his political events.

Well, Ben Fordham isn’t having it, calling out “boring Bill” for his antics.

“You bore, you wowzer, you fun-sucking sook. Get a life, Bill.

“What’s happened to Bill?

“Boring Bill reckons you can’t have a beer and talk politics.”

Ben says it appears the Labor leader has forgotten the time he made a rousing speech to Labor supporters outside a Sydney pub.

“Does he want everyone sitting around with tea and scones?

“Bring back the old Bill. The new Bill is boring.”
