A new app is offering amazing food and wine deals while solving a major problem for our cities at the same time.

The EatClub app is being described as a win-win for diners and restaurants alike, helping fill empty tables by offering customers discounts during slow periods.

The app’s co-founder Pan Koutlakis spoke with Steve Price, explaining exactly how it works.

“It’s like an online version of $10 steak night,” says Steve.

With the development of food delivery apps like Uber Eats and Deliveroo, many restaurants are struggling to drag people through the door.

Steve, a self-proclaimed food lover, says “we’ve got to help out where we can”.

“There’s lots of empty shopfronts in the suburb I live in.”
