A decision is expected today on whether the Immigration Minister will use his powers to deport Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic also apologised for mistakes on his travel declaration form, blaming his support team for ticking the wrong box about his travel before arriving in Australia.

Australian Catholic University Dean of Law Professor Patrick Keyzer told Chris Smith false visa information is grounds for deportation.

“You just can’t put incorrect information on a visa application.”
