There is a growing push for the relaxing of rules around allowing pets on public transport in New South Wales.
Currently, only assistance animals are allowed on trains and the Metro and a driver needs to approve pets on buses and the light rail.
Animal Justice Party MP Emma Hurst told John Stanley there are ways to address the concerns of commuters who may object to the idea.
