Weight loss empire Jenny Craig will reportedly close down its operations in the United States, as they’ve lost additional financing.

A leaked staff email revealed that the company will close down after four decades, with many employees set to work their final day this Friday.

Jenny Craig Australia has stated that they are an “Independent entity and will continue to operate.”

Professor Gary Mortimer of QUT Business School told Deborah Knight, “There has been a big shake-up of the weight-loss and health industry.”
