Snackbrands Australia, the makers of Cheezels, Kettle, CC’s and Thins, has had its gas bill jump astronomically.

CEO Paul Musgrave told Ben Fordham their yearly gas bill has gone from $3 million to $9 million.

The gas bill will lead to an increase of 30 to 50 cents for a bag of chips in the new year.

“We hate passing on price increases, but we figured this is what we’ve got to do.”
