Ben Fordham has had a funny encounter with the Telstra hotline while trying to lodge a complaint for a listener.

2GB listeners have been struggling to be put through to an Australian based operator, with many finding it impossible to have their complaints resolved through international call centres.

Listener James has spent two hours trying to get through to the phone provider.

Ben decided to give it a go and was greeted by Telstra’s robotic voice.
