The Nationals appointed Michael McCormack as their new leader and Deputy PM on Monday, following Mr Joyce’s resignation last week.

And while Mr McCormack’s new role will come with its challenges, Andrew Bolt tells Ben Fordham his biggest threat lies within his own party.

“Barnaby Joyce feels he’s been plotted against by Malcolm Turnbull. Forced out, leaked against, embarrassed, shamed out of his position.

“He won’t take this lying down.”
