The ABC has agreed to conduct an internal review into a damaging story with unproven war crime allegations.

The article was based on an account from an unnamed US Marine who alleged November Platoon executed a prisoner in Afghanistan in 2012.

Multiple November Platoon members have told Ben Fordham Live that the claims are not true.

Ben Fordham is encouraging listeners to sign a petition calling on the Federal Government to launch an independent review into the unproven war crime claim.

Former commander Heston Russell told Ben “people are finally starting to realise how terrible and how wrong it is”.
