A truck has crashed and overturned at the entrance to the M5 East westbound on-ramp, at Arncliffe.

The incident happened at 1am but left the busy Marsh Street and West Botany Street on-ramp closed all morning.

The Ray Hadley Morning Show has received exclusive footage of the incident.

The truck can be seen travelling quickly into the corner before rolling into the wall.

The situation caused delays for those leaving the airport and did not impact on city-bound peak hour traffic on the M5.

The ramp reopened at around 2pm after an extensive clean-up operation was completed.
