Fuel prices in Sydney are only falling on an average of 0.5 cents a day, so fuel is likely to be cheaper in regional areas before the Easter holidays.

Peter Khoury from NRMA told Chris O’Keefe that Sydney is the 6th most expensive city for fuel.

“It’s currently $2 per litre on average for regular unleaded,” said Mr Khoury.

“We could hit the bottom of the cycle around ANZAC day.”
