This year marks 25 years of The Whitlams’ iconic album Eternal Nightcap.

The band will be touring in September treating audience to the classic album in full.

Front man Tim Freedman joined Jim Wilson on Drive to reflect on the album and the tour.

“In the 18 months before I put that album out my fellow band member died … It was the toughest 18 months of my career,” he said.

“It’ll take people back 25 years to hear that first piano chord of No Aphrodisiac and then through the 13 songs.”
