Sydney University course accused of killing romance

Article image for Sydney University course accused of killing romance

Well, it looks like romance is officially dead.

At Sydney University, if you’re a student and you want to make a move on someone, you’ll have to ask permission first.

New students will be required to the online module on sexual consent.

Bettina Arndt, sex therapist and author, tells Ben Fordham she isn’t surprised the uni has made this move.

“Women like men to show a bit of initiative in these matters and to be able to read their body language.”
