Sydney FC is well on track to claim another A-League Premier’s Plate.

Last year the Sky Blues won the treble; the Premier’s Plate, the A-League Championship and the FFA Cup.

Nearly halfway through the season they’re five points clear at the top of the table and could be on their way to break another record season.

Ross Greenwood speaks with Sydney FC Captian Alex Brosque on what it’s been like the lead the side.

“It’s been very humbling.

“To be a part of it, let alone Captain of the side has been incredible. Such a great group of boys.

“We haven’t rested on what we did last year. We’re really pushing.”

Brosque also tells Ross the sport is becoming very lucrative in Asia.

“There’s a lot of money there. So a lot of players in the back end of the career are looking to make moves to Asia to make a bit of money and come home.”
