Former NRL player Mark Riddell has unloaded after a Panthers trainer ran directly in front of Titans halfback Jayden Campbell before a kick at goal on Saturday.

“He should never have put himself in that position, they should’ve awarded Jayden Campbell a goal kick from in front, I think that was the right thing to do because he obstructed him,” Riddell said.

It comes as the NRL has confirmed they’re looking into the incident.
