Aussie comedian Shaun Micallef has revealed his tips on how to create a sustainable comedy series on TV.

The Mad as Hell host tells Steve Price it’s all about building up a loyal fanbase.

“Being on the ABC’s great cause I’ve simply put a show on out of sheer bloody-mindedness. And a second and third series just to vex their enemies.

“But I think if you build up a loyal enough audience and can still demonstrate that people are actually watching you then you’re alright.”
