Ray Hadley has revealed Resilience NSW Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons will be stood down from his role.

The Mornings host has been calling on the Premier to scrap Resilience NSW amid their inaction during the floods.

Now, an independent flood inquiry has recommended Resilience NSW be dismantled.

Dominic Perrottet is expected to make an announcement today.
