The Prime Minister has responded after criticisms Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party will preference the Coalition in the federal election.

Bill Shorten has slammed the Coalition for making deals with Mr Palmer.

The Coalition has previously been criticised for its promise to preference Pauline Hanson’s One Nation below Labor.

Scott Morrison tells Ben Fordham, “I just find this whole discussion quite hypocritical from Labor”.

“Bill Shorten wants to govern with the Greens.

“We’re not governing with Clive Palmer, we’re not even advocating to vote for Clive Palmer.

“The question in the election is this… would the United Australia Party be worse for the Australian economy than the Labor Party and the Greens?

“The answer to that is of course he wouldn’t.”
