Rural businesses are buzzing as royals head down under

It’s official, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on their way down under in October.

The royal couple will be visiting Australia in conjunction with the Invictus Games, and they’re planning to head to some unusual places.

Dubbo is on their itinerary and some local businesses are already planning their celebrations.

Owner of Harry’s for Menswear, Pete Sutton, tells Chris Smith they’ll be getting well into the spirit of things.

Just as they did when the couple first got married.

“We love the royals and just having the name called Harry’s, I thought what a great opportunity for us to add on to it.

“So we got our windows all dressed up with Harry and Meghan. We created a lot of attention and a lot of smiles as people walked past.”

Pete says this time around the decorations will have an Invictus Games flavour and he’s hoping the Prince may pop in for a chat.

“I know Harry is a great suit-wearer.

“I’m hoping he might just pull the car up and wonder in.”
