Rugby league legend Steve Folkes has died at age 59.

The former Bulldogs player and coach suffered a heart attack.

‘Big Marn’ Darryl Brohman joins Ben Fordham to pay tribute to his friend and former teammate Steve.

“He was a really good guy. We’re all shocked.

“Like the rest of the boys who played with him… [we] just can’t believe it.

“He was very dedicated. He was the first bloke at training, the fittest there.

“He knew what he wanted to do and he would go to any lengths to achieveĀ it.”

Steve played 245 first grade games over a 13-year career.
