Former Bulldogs player and coach Steve Folkes died yesterday from a heart attack aged 59.

Chris Smith is joined by the voice of rugby league, Ray ‘Rabbits’ Warren, who says Steve’s loss has come as a huge shock.

“It’s very sad.

“It was just unbelievable that a man 59 years of age and so fit would have a suspected heart attack riding an exercise bike.

“Anybody who knew Steve Folkes would know that there was no tougher bloke in the game. It’s really come as a shock.”

Ray also tells Chris what’s in store for this year’s NRL season which kicks off next week.
