Rafael Nadal has been forced to withdraw from Wimbledon meaning Australian Nick Kyrgios is straight through to the final of the grand slam.

The world number 4 from Spain experienced abdominal issues that grew worse after the first set of his quarterfinal yesterday.

Nadal says he had to make a call, or risk making his abdominal strain worse.

Kyrgios is the first Aussie man to reach the final of the tournament since 2003.

He’ll face the winner of tonight’s semi-final between Novak Djokovic and Cam Norrie.
