National Cabinet has agreed to stick to the re-opening plan amid the threat of the Omicron variant.

Premiers are supporting the two-week delay of further opening of the international border.

Nine Political Reporter Michael Pachi told Ben Fordham all eyes will be on the Queensland Premier.

“You would like to think that they were listening to the Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly when he did tell them there’s no evidence to suggest that the current vaccinations aren’t working against Omicron.”
