Why Aussie car auction records can’t stay still

The Australian car auction market has gone up a gear with the record selling price being broken twice in two months.

A 1971 Ford XY Falcon GT-HO Phase III sold for a staggering $1,150,000 through Slattery Auctions, an auction so popular it crashed the website.

Steve Waterman is an auctioneer for Slattery Auctions and he joins John Stanley to discuss the craze of car auctions.
