The relationship between food prices and obesity

Consumer prices jumped by 2.1 per cent through the first three months of the year, taking annual inflation to its highest level in more than 20 years.

And the effect is being felt across the country, our hip pockets and our diets the biggest victims.

Dietitians across Australia are warning the Federal Government that as prices rise Australians will look to cheaper and unhealthier food.

John chats with Robert Hunt, the CEO of Dietitians Australia to express his concern as the price of fresh food increases.
